Workshop Title: stress & anxiety reduction workshop
Course Structure: two to three hour workshop
This workshop is suitable for small groups (up to 15 participants) and can be delivered on site (an online option will be available later in the year).
Ideally, there will be the opportunity for a short break between parts 1 and 2
part 1: setting the scene
definitions | examples | the stress reaction & the nervous system: what's happening!
part 2: moving ahead
how mindfulness can help | reality vs perception | coping techniques to take away
Participants will leave the workshop with an understanding of what stress is and how it impacts on our body and our health, and be introduced and instructed on a number of coping methods.
Please take note:
1. the course is delivered in English with written notes and other content in English
2. the course content is supported by slides and attendees will have content delivered through Power Point slides on a TV style screen. If there are concerns regarding this please contact me.
