I am a 10th Generation practitioner in the lineage of Usui Tibetan Reiki, based upon Usui Shiki Ryoho ('The Usui System of Healing')

What is Reiki?

Modern Reiki originated in Japan and is derived from the profound study and experience of Dr Mikao Usui - a Zen Buddhist Monk

Reiki is a gentle, safe and non-intrusive hands-on healing technique; a holistic system for balancing, healing and harmonising all aspects of a person - the mind, the body, the emotions and the spirit.

Reiki is a Japaneses word pronounced as "Ray-Kee" and can translate as UNIVERSAL LIFE FORCE ENERGY

In Japan, Reiki is used to describe healing which uses the spiritual or soul energy. It is available to everyone and has its own wisdom.

Rei - sacred, soul, spirit or wisdom of the universe and refers to the Higher Intelligence that guides the creation and the functioning of the universe.

Ki - Life Force Energy that flows through every living thing and which is present in some form in everything around us. 

It is synonymous with Chi or Qi (Chinese form) and Prana (Indian form)

A typical treatment will last about 30 or 60 mins and each session can be unique in its own special way. The practitioners hands are held in various positions over the body (no touch) to deliver the Reiki in a calming, relaxed treatment space.

Global Healing Group

I am a member of, and join with, on a regular basis (most weeks) a remote healing group. The group is based on the concept of collective consciousness, group healing and The Power Of Eight model (ref. Lynne McTaggart). We are a global group of like-minded individuals and offer healing remotely to those who are in need of support for a variety of reasons.
