Self-Awareness & Self Protection (SASP) Workshop
Understand and reduce anxiety & stress regarding violent crime, strategies to assist & overcome
there is NO physical contact involved in this course
Introducing a new perspective on self-protection: bringing in learnings from mindfulness/psychology and martial arts to allow you to become more confident in your everyday life. Recognising and acting on warning signs, avoid being in “the wrong place at the wrong time”, de-escalation and more. The workshop is non-physical, we will not be jumping up and down, practising choke holds or spinning back kicks - this workshop is all about avoidance.
I can teach physical techniques for those that are interested, but that’s a whole different arena and outside the scope of this workshop.
